From there, you will go on a full-day game drive focusing on the wildlife congregating on the banks of the Mara River. In the evening, you will settle into your own luxury tent in one of the premier migration camps in the region.

Today, you will continue to focus on the flora and fauna in the northern plains. Your guide will monitor the wildebeest herds on the banks of the Mara River to bring you to the site of crossings. You may also follow the herds all the way to the Tanzania-Kenya border, meeting herds of graze animals, tracking big cats, and spotting warthogs along the way. Don’t miss the iconic acacia trees slanting into the horizon!

North to Central Serengeti | Classic Lion King Landscapes
In the morning, we will continue to explore the banks of the Mara, and perhaps catch another river crossing. When we are ready, we will start the drive towards Central Serengeti.
